The Opportunity

You will be part of the Technology Team and directly reporting to our Co-CEO. As an Information Security Manager, you design and execute the information security framework. Ownership is a big part of the role as you will take over responsibility for all Information Security aspects. 

Your mission

• Design and execute the security policies, controls, and processes
• Support teams and projects, and propose practical and pragmatic solutions, e.g. on 
  • Information security and data protection strategy, intent, and goals
  • Interpretation and implementation of requirements, policies, and standards
  • Mapping of security requirements to business cases and systems
  • Customer communication, including requests for proposals
  • Vulnerabilities, deviations from policies/standards, and residual risk
  • Planning secure cloud system requirements and constructing
• Ensure awareness and alignment on security and data protection topics

Your profile

• Experience in the development and implementation of practical security and/or data protection measures, policies, processes, and standards
• Experience in Cloud Computing
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking, ability to understand, structure and prepare/explain complex topics on the appropriate level, depending on context and recipient
• Track record of taking responsibility, working independently and without much supervision
• Ability to work with multiple, sometime conflicting goals and priorities, as well as with colleagues from different topic areas and cultural backgrounds. Ability to lead and align on a shared vision
• Highly motivated to learn about new topics, technologies, and business cases
• University degree in computer science or a comparable education
• 2+ years of experience in the information security and/or data protection domain
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English 
• Very good command of German language and certifications in information security or data protection areas are a plus
